Hands-on DNS filtering with Pi-hole.
Problem
I wanted more control over unwanted advertising domains on my devices and practical experience configuring a network service.
Solution
I manually configured Pi-hole on a Raspberry Pi, adjusted DNS and network settings, and set up Tailscale access. Working through connectivity and filtering behavior gave me direct experience with how devices reach and use a DNS service.
